Weight Loss and Maintenance
|
| I have maintained my weight after losing 35 pounds in 2003. I had been on a diet since 1977. I can help you plan and execute your meals, exercise and mindset that will result in long-term success. It is not the weight that bothered me as much as the promises that I would not keep. No one knew about these promises -- like at Thanksgiving, I would swear that I would not eat the candy before the appetizers and the meal and upon arrival I would eat the candy.
Maintaining weight may make your doctor happier and may make you happier but most importantly, if it is an important goal, it will instill a sense of integrity with yourself that makes dieting so challenging.
The first item to purchase is a food scale -- this is critical for the weight loss phase and even more important for the maintenance phase (forever!).
